Ok South America, you blew us away. The past few months we’ve been traveling through South America and honestly, it’s been incredible. Culture, landscapes, experiences—you name it, this part of the world has it. We started with two months in Mexico learning Spanish and practicing salsa and bachata. After a couple of months though, we were speaking well enough to make local friends—and even confident enough to join a dance troupe! From there we went to Colombia to keep at it, and then headed further south where the landscapes just kept getting better and better. Chile's Atacama DesertIn Chile, we road-tripped through the Atacama Desert—one of the driest places on Earth, where some spots haven’t seen rain for hundreds of years. Wild, right? To our surprise, it was full of some of the most unique, almost alien-looking scenery we’ve ever come across. Valle de la Luna really does look like the moon, there are turquoise salt pools in the middle of nowhere, massive geyser fields, and skies so full of stars they don’t even look real. If you haven’t heard of Atacama before, it’s absolutely one to add to the list.
Patagonia! Then we went as far south as you can get to Patagonia, which is basically a dream destination for hikers and outdoor lovers. From huge glaciers like Perito Moreno, riding horses like real gauchos, and standing under those iconic jagged peaks you’ve probably seen on the Patagonia logo, it’s the kind of place that just keeps you in awe the entire time.
Bolivia's Salar UyuniAfter that we made our way north through Argentina until we reached Bolivia and the famous Salar de Uyuni, the largest salt flat in the world. We spent four days exploring high-altitude landscapes that looked like another planet—altiplanos, multi-coloured mineral lagoons filled with flamingos, and of course, the mind-blowing mirror reflections at Uyuni. This trip felt like we escaped planet earth and landed on one of the most alien landscapes of the galaxy! And as for the rest of Bolivia and Peru—well, that’s a whole other adventure. We’ll save that story for the next newsletter! ⏳👀 So if you’ve ever wondered whether South America is worth visiting—this is your sign that it is. And we’ve got you covered with detailed guides on how to plan your trip, the best things to do, and how to make it all happen. And maybe these photos are the little push you needed to finally hit “book now.” That's it for now! Back with more Japan tips — courtesy of our many small mistakes 😂 Let’s be honest: traveling to Japan is incredible… but also a full-on culture shock. Between the futuristic trains, completely foreign language, unspoken social rules, and customs that are completely different from anywhere else we’ve traveled, visiting Japan can be overwhelming, even for experienced travelers. On our first trip, we made so many small mistakes. We got confused by train systems (and missed our train), broke...
Back with more Japan Tips—this time, Kyoto beyond the temples! Kyoto is one of Japan’s most famous cities… which also means it’s crowded—like, really crowded. If you just go chasing temples and the Instagram-famous spots, you’ll miss the part that makes Kyoto truly special. That’s why we created a different kind of guide. Instead of a long list of things to 'see', we focused on hands-on, immersive experiences that let you feel the culture and traditions of Japan. From forging your own...
Happy New Year! 🎉 We hope 2026 brings you a year full of adventure, meaningful experiences, and moments that change the way you see the world. They say travel is the only thing you spend money on that actually makes you richer—and honestly, we couldn’t agree more. Travel pulls you out of your comfort zone, opens your mind to new ways of thinking, challenges you in the best possible way, and connects you not only with other people, but with nature and with yourself. More than anything, travel...
